Owner

Dorene Willis

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Dorene moved to Maryland to create new opportunities for her family. After facing challenges in her first year in trucking, she founded her company to help new owner-operators navigate the industry with confidence.

Dorene is passionate about supporting drivers—whether they’re experienced owner-operators looking to grow or newcomers eager to learn the business. Her mission is simple: to make trucking easier for the next generation of professionals.

Co-Owner

David Willis

As Co-Owner of DWILLIS Logistics and a CDL truck driver himself, David understands the daily challenges truckers face. Together with his wife and business partner, Dorene, he leads the logistics side, coordinating with dispatch to ensure profitable loads, driver safety, and compliance.

David handles key areas like driver eligibility, payroll, and expiration tracking, while ensuring full FMCSA compliance. With a focus on operational excellence and a driver-first mindset, he helps keep DWILLIS Logistics running efficiently.

Freight Dispatcher

Delana Kerr

Originally from New Jersey, Delana moved to Florida for school, where she discovered her passion for the logistics industry. Today, she works as a dedicated freight dispatcher who thrives on building strong, lasting relationships with drivers.

Delana takes pride in helping them succeed on the road by maximizing earnings and improving efficiency. With a people-first mindset and a commitment to excellence, she’s focused on driving success—for her drivers, her clients, and the logistics industry as a whole.
